We had the Howarths over for some fondue to bring in the New Year! 

 

How to Train Your Dragon

Last minute we decided to take the boys to see the performance of "How to Train Your Dragon" at HP Pavilion after hearing some good reviews from friends.

 

 

 

The show was really great and the boys really enjoyed it!

Day on the Wharf

We headed over to Santa Cruz to get a bowl of clam chowder from Stagnaro's on the wharf.  It was a beautiful day!

 

Christmas 2012

We had a fabulous Christmas day!  We were busy, but loved spending time with family.  We started off at home.  Amazingly, Cole was up before Tyler (that rarely happens!).

 

 

We headed over to Richelle's parents' house for breakfast.

 Then we went to Geoff's parents' house for Brunch.  Cousin, Rylan, got the boys some Twins shirts since he is going to college in Minnesota.

 Cole has been wanting this sweatshirt so badly!  He has nicknamed it "the precious" (and no, he has not seen Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit!)

 Later in the evening we went back to Richelle's parents' house for Christmas dinner with the Masuda side of the family.

 Even Milo was happy with his Christmas surprises.

 

Christmas Eve 2012

Keri and Dean had us all over for a gourmet Christmas Eve dinner.  The kids got to decorate cookies.

 

 We sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.

 It was a delicious meal and a fun time with family!

Christmas Cookies

Today was Richelle's parents' 50th anniversary!  She made a slideshow to "Moonriver" (their song) in honor of their special day.  Afterward, she and the boys made their annual Christmas cookies!

 

 Cole's cookies had a SF Giants theme!

Spa Day

Miki, Melissa and Richelle got to have a spa day at Burke Williams.  We all got massages and spent time in the spa, the sauna, enjoyed a fruit platter and frozen bananas served at the hot tub! 

 

Class Parties

Richelle had the rare opportunity to volunteer in the boys' classrooms for their Holiday Parties.  Tyler worked very diligently on his graham cracker house and Cole made a beautiful blue cupcake which he never even ate!

 

 

 

Kid's Club Christmas Performance

The boys performed in the Kid's Club mini Christmas performance.  Tyler was a caroler with the 3rd graders and Cole was a shepherd with the 2nd graders.

 

Hiking at Quicksilver

We had Veteran's Day off and decided to go for a hike at Quicksilver.

End of the Season

Tyler's team had a few absentees for the Jamboree games, so Cole got to fill in.  He's wearing Justin's jersey which was a large!
