A Visit from the Other Griffins

Geoff's brother's family came out from Montana for his Granny's memorial service.  It was a beautiful, uplifting service and a wonderful week spent with extended family.  We celebrated our niece, Natalie's, 16th birthday.

Tyler and Cole even got to go to the Tech Museum one day with their Uncle Greg and cousins, Matt and Heidi.

Cole's 5th Birthday

We celebrated Cole's birthday 3 different days!  We celebrated at Chuck E. Cheese on his actual birthday.

Then had a family party later in the week for brownies and ice cream.

Then had a party with his friends at the Jungle Island where he got to play laser tag!

Lake Tahoe

Thanks to our friends, the Oulds, we got to go to Tahoe for a few days without the boys.  We attended a beautiful wedding while we were there and took a few beautiful hikes.  These pictures are from Eagle Falls.

Obon Festival

Every year we take the boys to the Obon Festival in Japantown in downtown San Jose.  We love to hear SJ Taiko perform, but also stand in line for an hour just for the yummy Hawaiian shave ice!

4th of July

We watched the 4th of July parade at Aunt Keri's then celebrated with a neighborhood street party!
