Gizdich Ranch and Backyard Camping

My mom and I took the boys to Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville to go berry picking. It was our first time going, but lots of fun. My mom actually grew up picking strawberries as a child. Who would have thought she'd do it for fun!?

That evening Tyler, Cole and I slept in a tent in our backyard. Geoff did all the set up, but slept inside since our tent is so small.

Outdoor Movie Night

We had our neighbors over to our front lawn for a movie night. We watched The Incredibles.

Dog Beach

We took Milo to dog beach in Santa Cruz for the first time. He is usually very timid around other dogs, but had a great time here. (4.5 months old)

Trikeathon '09

Tyler and Cole participated in a Trikathon to raise funds for St. Jude's hospital. Tyler did over 100 laps and Cole did 89 laps!

One of the exciting moments that day was finding a grasshopper in the parking lot!

Academy of Sciences

My parents and I took Tyler and Cole to the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. We got to see a rainforest, an aquarium and the African plains all in one day! The highlights were the butterflies flying all around the rainforest and the albino alligator!
