Oakland Zoo

Tyler had the day off of school, so we visited the Oakland Zoo for the day.

The Children's area had so many cool things for them to see and touch!

We went on the sky ride at the end of the day and were able to get an overhead view of the giraffes, lions, camels and bison!

Easter

The boys got to see what was in their Easter baskets before church on Easter morning.

My handsome boys all dressed up for church!

Grandma and Grandpa came to church as well! Aunt Miki was in Rome!

Keri (Geoff's sister) and Dean had us over for Easter lunch and an egg hunt. They just put in a brand new pool! Tyler and Cole loved the waterfall!

Definitely a California Easter!
And of course, the egg hunt.

Pre-Easter

We had our first Easter egg hunt at Los Gatos High school's front lawn. It has become tradition for us to go since Tyler could walk. I remember doing a hunt on the back soccer field when I was little!

Later that afternoon we dyed our Easter eggs.

The kids a couple houses down from us set up an egg hunt in their front yard for the neighborhood kids.

March Birthday Dinner

As is our tradition, we went to Azuma's for yummy Japanese food to celebrate the March birthdays (Geoff, my Mom and Miki).

Soccer

Tyler has been taking a soccer class through Rec. Dept. He's a fast runner and does a great job controlling the ball.

Here's a video of Tyler in action. It's a game kind of like steal the bacon.

Big Truck Day!

The Los Gatos Library put on an event called Big Truck Day where they had a garbage truck, a firetruck and a police command unit truck available for kids to sit in and watch in action. Tyler especially liked the garbage truck!
Driving the garbage truck
This gives a little perspective!

Driving the firetruck.

Driving the police command unit. Notice the rifles behind Tyler. Yikes!

Day at the Beach

Geoff decided to take a day off, so we got clam chowder at the pier, then walked on the beach a little. A fun little break from our routines!
