Day 3 - Madrid

 Geoff and I found our favorite Plaza.  Plaza Santa Ana.



Day 2 - Madrid

The next day we did some sight seeing.

 This is the Casa de Vidrio (Glass House) at the Parque de Retiro.

 Plaza de Toros where they hold the bullfights.  We were lucky enough to catch one that evening.



Spain '11

We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Europe for Geoff's work.  We left for Madrid, Spain on May 21 and arrived on May 22.  We hit the road running by visiting a Cathedral next to the Prado Museum, then touring the museum itself.  Some of the most famous paintings in the world are located here.

 We also visited the Plaza Mayor and people watched.

 We briefly visited the Parque de Retiro which is like Central Park for Spain.

Baseball

It was a great season of baseball with Tyler on the A A's and Cole on the tball Rangers.

1st Grade Music Performance

Tyler's 1st grade class had a music performance showing off all that they had learned in music this year. 

Sundae Party

The boys did such a great job fundraising for their school's walkathon, that they got to take part in the Sundae Party after school one day!

Awana Awards '11

Both boys did an amazing job memorizing verses in Awana this year.  They both went above and beyond and got extra pins for learning Psalm 1 and Psalm 23!
